NESS access control

The NESS range of access control products include control modules, card readers, biometric readers, cards and FOBs, door locks and software.

NESS Biometric

Biometrics refers to the use of human biological features, such as eyes and fingerprints, to provide credentials for access control systems.

NESS have pioneered the development of biometric access control technology, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.

NESS have produced a range of fingerprint reading products, which Tiger Security are able to install and support.

There are two parts to the NESS biometric fingerprint access control system:

• The first part comprises the enrolment or recording of fingerprints into a software system. This requires an enrolment reader and software. The NESS Virdi Enrolment reader comes with free Unis software, and can be purchased from our online shop.
• The second part of the system are the fingerprint readers, where persons wanting to obtain access to a location present their fingerprint for analysis by the software to determine if it matches one in the database.

At present there are two such readers – the NESS Virdi AC2100 Fingerprint Reader, and the NESS Virdi AC5000 Fingerprint Reader.
