Tiger Security is pleased to offer two affordable home security alarm packages, the Sabre Tooth™ Premium and Basic.

Sabre Tooth™ Premium – the FREE home alarm package

Our fantastic Sabre Tooth™ Premium home alarm package is subject to one condition: that you sign up for our home alarm monitoring service for a minimum of 48 months. Our monthly charge for home monitoring is only $23.

This package includes installation, programming and training, as well as the following brand new, New Zealand made hardware:

  • Alarm control panel
  • 2 x motion sensors
  • 1 x keypad
  • 1 x internal alarm siren
  • 1 x external alarm siren

Our premium package is ideal for home owners, landlords and tenants.

Notes:

  • This offer is available to customers in the Auckland region only, located between Wellsford and Pukekohe.
  • Additional motion sensors can be added for a $60 up front payment per sensor.

Sabre Tooth Basic – no monitoring

Our basic home alarm package, without monitoring is $699. This includes full installation, programming and training, and the following hardware:

  • 1 x alarm control panel
  • 2 x motion sensors
  • 1 x keypad
  • 1 x internal alarm siren
  • 1 x external alarm siren

Notes:

  • This offer is available to customers in the Auckland region only, located between Wellsford and Pukekohe.
  • Additional motion sensors can be added for a $60 up front payment per sensor.

FAQs

1. If I sign up for Sabre Tooth Premium, what happens if I move house before the end of the 48 month monitoring contract?

A. All hardware remains the property of Tiger Security until the end of the 48 month period. If you move house before then, you have four options:

  • Assign the remainder of the alarm contract over to the new owner, with their consent. Discuss this with the new owner, and contact us immediately if you have agreed with them to do this.
  • Remove the alarm system and terminate the contract. In this case we will come and physically remove the alarm system, for a $150 charge.
  • Pay out the remainder of the contract, upon which ownership of the alarm system will transfer to you, and you can transfer it as part of the house to the new owner. This is the cleanest and easiest option.
  • Take the alarm system with you to your new house. In this case we will come and remove the system, and reinstall in your new house for a charge of $250.

The key is to contact us as soon as possible if you are planning to move house within the 48 month period.

2. I am interested in purchasing a Sabre Tooth™ package. What’s the next steps?

  • Call us now on (09) 972 1890.
  • We’ll arrange a free site visit, at which time we will appraise the premises, go through the paperwork with you, and sign the monitoring agreement.
  • Installation will commence on an agreed date.

3. I’m renting. How can I get a Sabre Tooth™ alarm package installed?

We must have your landlord’s permission in writing before we install the alarm. We will need their contact details so we can discuss with them the installation and responsibility for payment of the monthly fee.

4. Is the Sabre Tooth™ wireless or wired?

It’s wired. Cables will be run from the alarm control panel to the keypad, sensors and sirens. Every effort will be made to ensure the cables are run in a way that they are not visible, however in some cases cables may need to be run inside plastic capping attached to walls, to give a professional finish. Any issues with installation will be discussed with you at the free pre-commencement site visit, but we will always provide a high standard of workmanship.

5. Does the Sabre Tooth come with a warranty?

Yes. Our packages are sourced from New Zealand manufacturers or authorised importers, and so come with the manufacturer’s standard warranties.
