Tiger Security was awarded the contract the supply and install the security requirements for the refurbished, architecturally designed new visitor reception at the MercyAscot Hospital in Epsom, Auckland.
The solution included the following security components:
- Nurse call panic button system under the reception desk;
- Colour video intercom from the reception desk to the main entry automatic doors for after hours identification and entry (Hikvision);
- Double mini electromagnetic lock (‘mag lock’0 for internal reception access door;
- Full swipe card access, emergency exit buttons and card reader to interface with the hospital’s existing Inner Range access control system.
This project was successfully completed in April 2021.
