Tiger Security was awarded the contract to install an alarm, access control and CCTV security system for a brand new architecturally designed apartment/office building on Auckland’s Ponsonby Road.
We specified an ICT Protege WX intrusion detection alarm, complemented by an ABB Welcome intercom, and a Uniview CCTV surveillance system. The project included numerous PIR motion detectors and keypads, while the access control component included swipe card access readers, with electronic magnetic (MAG) and strike locks. The ABB Welcome video intercom interfaced with the door locks to allow users to unlock doors from the comfort of their apartment. The internal building lift was also interfaced with Protege WX, to restrict it’s usage to authorised users.
The project was successfully completed in November 2019.
