Tiger Security was recently contracted to install a new security system into the magnificient new Learning Centre at Arahoe School in Auckland.
The security system for the new centre was an extension of the school’s existing Integriti platform by Inner Range. New motion sensors and sirens were installed, as well as pre-cabling for future access control and CCTV requirements. A number of old sensors in the refurbished library were also removed. Our work on the site commenced in December 2016 with the ‘first-fix’, and the project was completed in April 2017.
The Learning Centre is a large, open-planned teaching space covering three levels, with a number of break-out rooms, and will be used primarily as an arts centre. The building will no doubt become a focal point for the community, and is a testament to the vision of both the designers and school management.
