A new dedicated fire and smoke detector system was recently installed at Auckland’s Kelston Primary School. As part of this project Tiger Security was contracted to remove the old fire system which was controlled by the school’s existing security panel.
The project involved de-programming around 70 smoke and heat sensors, physically removing each one of them and replacing them with custom-made plastic blank plates.
The project was successfully completed in September 2019.
